Description
The burial ground (also the site of the former baptistery) is located immediately south of the churchyard of St David's Church (NPRN 400392) and immediately east of the Yatt (NPRN 81234).

The Baptist congregation at Glascwm was formed in the seventeenth century by the Lewis family, who lived at the Yatt (subsequently known as Glascwm Court) (NPRN 81234). A piece of land near the house was set aside as a burial ground, which was used for burials until 1876. There are two groups of graves. The earlier group, belonging to the Lewis family, are marked by eight grave slabs, the earliest of which are the graves of John Lewis (died 1709) and his wife (died 1708). Maria Lewis (died 1828) married into the Beavan family. The later group belong mainly to the Beavan family and are marked by box tombs. The baptistery was located in the north-eastern corner of the burial ground, although all that reportedly remains is a filled-in depression. Nearby is a vestry consisting of a small bricked chamber.
