Description1. Two large middens (PRNs 4238 and 4239) recorded by A L Leach on the edge of a large quarry at Giltar Point. The middens contained materials from many periods and included a large number of lithics. The material indicates occupation of some form or another from the Mesolithic into the Roman periods.
