Description
Built at the cost of the local landed estate (Davies-Cooke, Gwysaney Hall), in about 1858, the room was used as an Infants Day School until 1894. Sunday School was regularly held in it and services during the winter months.
On Ordnance Survey 25-inch maps it is shown variously as 'Gwysaney School' (1872) and Infant School (1899 & 1912). Modern mapping portrays it as 'Hen dy Ysgol' (NPRN 23468).
