Description
St Andrew's Church is located in the centre of Benllech, on the east side of Bangor Road opposite a shopping precinct. It was built in 1964 to designs of North & Padmore and is one of the few modern churches in Gwynedd. It is roughcast with full-height windows. The interior is lofty and bright, painted brick and a zig-zag section ceiling. Fittings and furnishings include pulpit and desk as plain boxes of grey polished stone decorated with gilded braiding, and a matching piscina and tapering hexagonal font.
