St John's church was located on the north-east side of the A470 road within a rectangular churchyard. Its plan suggests a simple structure comprising nave and apsidal chancel with porch at west end, vestry on the north.
The church is now demolished and a dwelling, Eglwysfan, occupies part of the churchyard.
