Railway siding depicted on the first-edition Ordnance Survey County Series map of 1889. It was here that slate was transferred from the narrow gauge railway (the Croesor tramroad) which served the Croesor quarries (NPRN 40593), onto the main Cambrian Railway. The siding survives as part of the Welsh Highland Railway.
