Description
A Mission Church was located on the east side of the A4063 in the village of Coytrahen. It had been established before 1899 when it first appears on local Ordnance Survey 25-inch mapping. It was first a Mission Room but became a church before 1921.
A grant for a new church, approved in 1934, allowed the building of St Thomas the Apostle church close by to the north-east (NPRN 13689). Its predecessor then became the church hall. It was still present in the 1970s but has since been converted, or rebuilt, as domestic accommodation ('Church View') along with St Thomas's church.
