Holy Trinity church was located on the south side of Potter Street in the Pill area of Newport. It was built in the period 1851-3 to designs of architect J.H.Langdon of Newport. The church was built soon after the first docks were established at Pillgwenlly (1843). The church has now been demolished but its plan suggests a rectangular structure with aisless nave, an apsidal chancel, and porches on the (liturgical) south long-wall and west end-wall.
Residential accommodation now occupies the site but the memory of the church is preserved the name 'Trinity Court'.
