Description
Dee Marsh Junction Signal Box is a Great Central Railway type 5 design and dates from 1930. It is a two storey structure of brick-to-floor construction under a pitched slated roof, with an external access stairway at the south end. The Railway Signal Co. frame is original but is now reduced to 25 levers, with tappet locking. The box was refurbished in 2006 and its appearance significantly altered with the installation of pvc windows.
