Description
Christ Church is located on the north side of Brymbo Road in a rectangular churchyard used as a cemetery. It was built originally as a school in 1867 but in 1877 was converted to a church by H & A.P.Fry of Liverpool. They added a slightly narrower chancel, a gabled south porch and a gabled north vestry. At the east end of the nave south wall is a bellcote. At the west end is a circular window above three lancets and there is plate tracey in the east window.
