DescriptionSt Catherine's church is located on the south side of the A5 in a churchyard used as a cemetery. It was built in 1878 to designs of William Kerr of Maesmor ('designer') and D.Jones of Cerrigydrudion ('architect'). It is constructed of coursed, rock-faced stone with paler dressings under steeply pitched slate roofs. It consists of nave and chancel under a single roof, gabled south-west porch, west bellcote and gabled north-west ?vestry. The church is lit through lancet windows, wrongly proportioned. Inside, the font and pulpit are of marble. Stained glass is by Mayer & Co of Munich.
