Mid-19th century (c 1864) counter balance incline, that linked with the Festiniog railway and the Floor 0 counter-balance incline (NPRN 421264) for the tranportation of finished slate products from Diffwys quarry.

A short 70 m stretch section of the incline plane survives, the remaining c. 230m can still be traced as a road/trackway. The incline drum house stands complete with winding drum.
