A 200m long incline, that conveyed finished slates from the quarry. The incline had been constructed by c. 1900 as indicated on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey. It was served by a drum-house on Floor 5 and linked with an earlier incline operating from the Floor 6 mill.
The stone built incline plane survives, but nothing of the rails for the double track remain.
