Description
Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 1st August 2013 (AP_2013_5582-87) revealed partial cropmarks of a bivallate ditched enclosure to the south of Llwyn-celyn. Cropmarks show the remains of the northern part of a possible larger enclosure defined by a curving stretch of bivallate ditches some 30m long. The ditches are slightly irregular in form, and causewayed in places. Possible remains of a south-west return to the ditch can be made out, which would give the enclosure dimensions of 170m wide.
