Polskie Osiedle Penrhos Polish Home is owned by the Polish Housing Society Limited which was founded in 1949. RAF Penrhos airbase was leased from the Air Ministry for the purpose of housing Polish ex-service men and women who remained in the UK after the Second World War. In 1964 it was purchased outright. The Church of Our Lady and St Cynfil (Kosciol pw. Matki Bozej i sw. Cynfila) serves the Catholic community at the residential home.
