Period20th Century
Description
There are five standard FW3/24 pattern pillboxes set into the defensive line - one is in good condition, one damaged, and feint traces of other three can be discerned at their former locations. Aerial photographs dating to 1950 show the pillbox at this former location leaning over, probably due to undercutting by the sea. Although demolished (perhaps by explosives), a few large fragments of the structure can still be found.
