DescriptionEarthworks on the floodplain of the Afon Cammarch to the south-east of Caerau Roman fort, comprise a trackway or holloway running south-east from the fort to the floodplain, connecting at right angles to a linear bank with one rounded corner to the west. The bank has a similar character to other natural terraces along the floodplain, but appears slightly too regular to be entirely natural in origin. Its proximity to a major Roman fort complex increases the possibility that this is a Roman earthwork.
