Road direction sign, set on a minor road at Pont Nant Crafanglach near its junction with the B4574. The sign pointing straight ahead (onto the B4574) indicates that that road leads to the 'B4343 PONTRHYD-Y-GROES'. The left-pointing sign indicates the 'B4574 CWMYSTWYTH' and that the road also leads to 'RHAYADER (MOUNTAIN ROAD)'. (See also nprns 421712 and 421713).The sign is pre-Worboys Committee (review of signage on British roads) and dates from between 1930 and 1965; it is cast in aluminium and probably produced by the Royal Label Factory.
