The sign stands on a minor road from Lledrod to its junction with the B4340. It indicates the 'B4340 PONTRHYD-FENDIGAID' to the right and 'B4340 TRAWSCOED' to the left. The sign is pre-Worboys Committee (review of signage on British roads) and dates from between 1930 and 1965; it is cast in aluminium and probably produced by the Royal Label Factory.
