The name Felin Gelli still applies to a small farm on the east side of the A485 road between Lampeter and Carmarthen, ten miles south of Lampeter. It is depicted as a corn mill on the 1st and 2nd editions of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, dated 1887 and 1905. Water was diverted from the Afon Talog along a mill race 370 metres long to a sizeable pond immediately east of the farmstead.
