Eglwys Trisant formerly stood in the churchyard to the west of St Clydai's Church (NPRN 422371). It was recorded in c.1700 and probably originated as a capel-y-bedd. It is associated with an early medieval inscribed and incised stone, Clydai 3 (NPRN 421375), which was lying inside the chapel when it was first recorded in 1698.
