DescriptionBuilding at ST 320 854 is a long block of buildings adjoining the Old Stores, and composed of several structures of various ages. It is now known as the Plant Workshop but was originally a train shed / workshop, and the metal rails are still to be seen in the floor. The oldest part is the central block, which has stone walls, externally clad in an attractive mix of yellow and black bricks, with round headed door and window openings and a corbel table below the eaves. It has a steel framed roof. The west end is a later and larger addition but still continues the round arches, and has a timber queen-post roof.
