"Family Group" was sculpted by David Horn in 1965. It now stands in the grounds of Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, Cwmbran. One local resident recalls that the statue was originally very controversial, considered by some to be a huge waste of money when other projects deemed more important needed funds. Some locals were not yet ready for this contemporary piece of art work. There was much debate in the local media about what it actually resembled.
