The historic 25-inch O. S. maps of 1889, 1900 and 1919 all apply the name 'Pandy' to this small group of buildings in the valley to the north-west of Pentraeth village. A leat from Melin Pentraeth (NPRN 407846) supplies a pond some 200 metres west of the site, and a further leat brought water to the rear of the site on the valley side.
