Description
A group of buildings to the west of Bryngwran village is depicted on all three editions of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1888, 1900 and 1024; but it is only named as a tannery on the 1900 map. A sluice on a small stream flowing from the north-east diverted water to the site, and a tail-race returned water to the Afon Caradoc.
