Description
Ferryside troughs were installed in 1906 some 3.38 km to the northeast of Ferryside Station (centre point at 240 miles 58 chains from London Paddington station) and were 620 yards (567 metres) long. The troughs were removed in 1961. Along with the troughs at Magor or Undy (nprn 422807), they were the only troughs installed on the Great Western Railway in Wales.
