A farmstead at the upper end of the Afon Leri. There seem to be three phases: (1) the old farmstead marked on the O.S. six-inch map as Llawrycwmbach-hen, which became part of the C19th mineworkings; (2) a cottage-farmhouse on a new site of the earlier C19th, now part of the farmbuildings of (3) the substantial mid-C19th.
