Pentre Berw is a village immediately north west of the larger village of Gaerwen (NPRN 423049), both are about four miles west of Llanfair PG. Pentre Berw is served by two public houses - Tafarn Y Gors and the Holland Arms, as well as a garden centre. There is also a chapel which is still in use - Berea Welsh Independent Chapel (NPRN 8798).
