Manordeilo is a small village built along the A40, approximately four miles north east of Llandeilo and seven and a half miles south west of Llandyfri. There is a children's nursery in the village, called Twts Tywi. A chapel on the eastern outskirts of Manordeilo had been reported as a ruin as early as 1833 (NPRN 417713). Dyffryn Welsh Calvinistic Chapel (NPRN 6360) was built much later, in 1875, and is located nearer the centre of the village.
