Ysgol Treganna is a primary school educating approximately 500 children aged 3 to 11 through the medium of Welsh. The school opened in 1987, but merged with Ysgol yr Eos Primary School and moved to its current new building on Sanatorium Road in the Canton area of Cardiff in 2013.
'Aesthetically the building utilises a combination of traditional and modern materials in a contemporary arrangement, that create a vibrant and attractive facility for both pupils and the wider community. The balance of hard and soft landscaping is a critical aspect of the design ethos where the landscaping compliments the built form to provide a more engaging space for staff and pupils and enables the external environment to become an additional teaching and educational resource.'
