Description
The village of Pen-y-Cae is situated in the upper Swansea valley, about seventeen miles north east of Swansea. Pen-y-Cae did have a village primary school until it closed in 2010 as part of a major restructuring of the education system in the Ystradgynlais area. Pupils now go to the new-build Ysgol y Cribarth in Abercrave. Pen-y-Cae also has a playground and a public house called Pen-y-Cae Inn.
