Description
A large circular parchmark has been identified on 1950s aerial photographic coverage in a field referred to as `Parc Caer Ain? on the 1838 tithe schedule. Measurements of the cropmark are given as c.120m diameter, and it appears to incorporate a wide bank with a small central depression. The nature of the site is unknown, but the field name would suggest that it is an iron age defended enclosure. The enclosure lies some 200m to the south-southwest of a cist grave (NPRN 423538) at Tremynydd Fawr.

The site was visited by Dyfed Archaeological Trust in 2008, but the field was under a mature wheat crop and no earthworks were visible on the ground.
