Description
Betws Bledrws is a small village mostly built along the A485, which runs from Lampeter in the south to Llanfarian in the north. The village is located three miles north east of Lampeter, and borders the Derry Ormond estate (includes NPRN 96038 and NPRN 86782). According to the first and second editions of the 25inch OS maps, published in 1888 and 1905, the village once had a post office, a saw mill and a smithy. The village church, dedicated to St. Bledrws, is still open (NPRN 418245).
