Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 4th July 2018 recorded extensive cropmarks and parchmarks of an early field system running north-west / south-east to the edge of the Menai Strait, on the coastal agricultural land west of Caernarfon. The fields are rectangular, with ditched hollow ways and may be medieval in date. However, they may be earlier and could possibly be related to the cropmarks of rectangular buildings identified to the south-west at Glan y Mor (NPRN 409821) on Foryd Bay.

Discovered during the 2018 drought.
