Description
Llangeler is a small village located on the A484, close to the western banks of the river Teifi. It is approximately three miles south west of Llandysul. The first and second editions of the 25inch OS maps, published in 1889 and 1906, show that at the turn of the century Llangeler had a church dedicated to St. Celer (NPRN 310029), a school and a smithy. In the twenty-first century the school has become a village hall, and the West Wales Museum of Childhood (NPRN 405258) is located in what use to be Pen-Ffynnon farmhouse, about half a mile north west of the village centre.
