Description
Possible defended enclosure at Town Hill, approximately half a mile south east of Montgomery. Two parallel ditches running for approximately 150 metres south west to north east along the north western side of Town Hill may indicate uncertain evidence of a prehistoric defended enclosure. These ditches were uncovered when the trees growing on the north western side of the hill were felled. Photographed by Dr Toby Driver during the Royal Commission's programme of archaeological aerial reconnaissance on 30th June 2015.
