Parkland Primary School is in Sketty, on the western side of Swansea. It educates approximately 550 children aged three to eleven. The pupils who attend Parkland Primary School reflect the diverse local community - '18 different languages are spoken by pupils, although none speaks Welsh as a first language at home.' According to its website, 'the school is fortunate to be sited within beautiful grounds, which enhance the learning environment and offer wonderful recreational spaces for our children.'
