Description
The 1st and 2nd editions of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1889 and 1906 respectively, depict and name Brook Mill as an active corn mill. It is situated where an unnamed stream cuts a deep valley into the former cliff coastline, nows fronted by Pendine Burrows. A mill race, 165 metres long, carried water to a small pond north of the mill. A building still exists on site.
