Description
Glyn-coch mill stood on the west bank of the Afon Taf immediately downstream of its confluence with the Afon Clydach; it drew its water from a sluice on the latter river which supplied a pond to the north-west of the mill. The 1st edition of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps, published in 1876,depicts the mill as a working corn mill, but the 2nd edition (1900) doesn't indicate a use, and it may have gone out of use, as evidenced by the partly silted pond. The mill and an adjoining building have disappeared without trace, and "Mill Farm" has been built on the site of the former pond.
