Originally constructed in the early-nineteenth century as four-stall stables and a double coach house for nearby Dyffryn Cottage (later Glyn Glydach, NPRN 424526), the complex became Glyn Clydach Farm by the early-twentieth century and later became a hotel. The structures are rendered, with some timbering to the street-facing elevation of the former coach house, with slate roofs, surrounding a central courtyard.
