Holywell Community Hospital is part of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. It was built in 2008 'to re-provide services from the old Holywell Cottage Hospital, Lluesty Hospital (NPRN 23448), Holywell Clinics and GP Practice. These services are now provided in a purpose built environment close to the community they serve.'
'The hospital has 44 inpatient beds. The inpatient specialities are Rehabilitation, Care of the Elderly, Palliative Care and Terminal Care. There are Consultant led beds and GP Medical beds. Consultant outpatient and community clinics are held and dental and x-ray services provided. Other services provided include: Outpatient and inpatient Physiotherapy; Occupational Therapy; Speech and Language Therapy; Chiropody; Phlebotomy service; Community Psychiatric Nursing; District Nursing; Health Visitors; Midwives; School Nurses; GP Practice; Red Cross Home from Hospital Service and Adult Social Services.'
