DescriptionThe 2nd edition of the historic 25-inch Ordnance Survey maps, published in 1905, depicts a woollen mill at this location. Neither the mill, nor the adjacent house called Cwerchyr Villa, are depicted on the 1st edition map (1888). A leat 150 metres long brought water to the north end of the site. A slate-roofed building still exists at the site.
