Description
Early C19 barn of unusual scale. Source: Cadw list description, 2003. 2004.02.20/RCAHMW/SLE

Barn constructed of rubble stone, with high walls and a large porch with a high sill. The inner arches to main barn are of brick and are cambered. There is one very long vent loop to each side of the porch and then one door each side close to the outer angle, with brick heads. The left end gable has big brick-arched window.

The lower range to the right has an asbestos sheet roof and a single window under the eaves, with a loft door in gable end.

An attached single-storey range lies at right angles, and steps downhill in three sections. This is built of whitewashed rubble stone and brick with asbestos sheet roofs. The first part has three doors (one now converted to a window) with brick jambs to both sides of centre door, the left side of left door and the left side of right door, with the door heads under the eaves. There is a straight joint to the second section which has window, door, window and door (brick jambs to right of left window, full-height, both sides of centre door and window and left side of right door), with a further straight joint to the lowest section which has two windows and a door.
