Description
Treifor House was the seat of the lesser-gentry james family between the early 17th century and the early 18th century. The building was probably started by John James Esq. or his son Walter James esq. c1630. Property bought by the Rolls family in 1845, becoming part of the Hendre estate, then sold in 1922.

Barn, now converted to a dwelling, constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof. a number of narrow, vertical ventilation slits to all external elevations.
