St Bartholomew's Church is not depicted on first edition (1890-1891) Ordnance Survey mapping. It is, however, depicted on second edition (1901) Ordnance Survey mapping, meaning it must have been constructed between these dates. The church is also visible on fourth edition (1954) Ordnance Survey mapping. Modern Ordnance Survey mapping depicts a building named 'Eglwys Flats' (Church flats) on the same approximate footprint, but at right angles to, St Bartholomew's Church.
