Description
Llantilio Court was built by John Lewis in about 1775 as a fine Georgian house with terraced gardens (nprn 79020), and was altered and enlarged in the nineteenth century. The main front was on the west side, with drives approaching from the west and south. The house lay to the north of the church on the edge of a steep bank down to a small valley to the north east. It was demolished in 1922 and the site of the house is now grassed over. Stony mounds cover the area, and in places there are remnants of walling, particularly along the north west side. The cellars remain, with several holes giving access to them.
