DescriptionA rubble-built two-storied house with gabled attics, groups of diagonal brick chimneys and a stone and slate roof. The main part of the house is l.16th-e.17th c, with the SW wing added c.1665.
The house was renovated 1944-7, when the SE part was reduced to one storey and a two-storey porch on the NE face was renmoved. There are wood mullions and transome windows, some of the former repositioned.
The house is enclosed by a 5.0m wide, partly water-filled moat to the N and E.
