A quarry, covering an area 15m by 15m, on a gentle east facing slope, just above the common boundary. Some outcropping rock was visible but the quarry was largely grassed over with some bracken growing when visited in September 2007. The quarry is shown on the 1st edition 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map of 1891 and marked as "Old Quarry". J.J. Hall, Trysor, 13 January 2008
