A quarry alongside the common boundary. The quarry was 12m by 8m and up to 2m deep. The quarry is shown on the 1st Edition 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map of 1891 and marked as "Old Quarry". The common boundary at this point was a stone wall standing up to 1m high and it is likely the quarry was to provide stone for it.
