A roughly rectangular enclosure, measuring 100m north northeast-south southwest by 80m, on a southeast facing slope. Within it was long hut NPRN 267093. The sides of the enclosure were slightly curvilinear and defined by earth banks, 2.5m wide at the base and 2m at the top. The ground surface within the enclosure was higher than the surrounding area. The enclosure is not shown on the 1833 1" to 1 mile Ordnance Survey map, nor any of the 1:10560 editions, nor on the tithe map. It is shown on modern mapping, presumably a result of information given by the RCAHMW to the Ordnance Survey about earthworks that should be mapped.
